I began formal training in the martial arts in 1984. Much of my training has been in Japanese / Okinawan karate and kobudo, but I have also studied Wu Taijiquan and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (sic) among other things. A member of the Ryukyu Karatejutsu Kokusai Kenkyukai and a student of Patrick McCarthy, Hanshi, I now study, practice and teach Koryu Uchinadi Kenpo Jutsu and Yamane-ryu Kobudo.

First Entry!

Greetings all!

After a short hiatus, the Boulder Koryukan is back in operation. We are currently training with the stunning foothills as a backdrop in Martin Park. Training times are Wednesdays at 6 p.m. and Saturdays at 11 a.m. These times may change, so check here and the website (www.boulderkoryukan.com) for updates. Before the end of August, we hope to find a new home - any help is aprreciated!

I will do my best to blog our progress, events, etc., and REALLY look forward to using this space to upload documents, pictures, and videos. There will be files both for the public and for students, so check back often to peruse the content.

I hope you find this space fun and informative.

Sincerely,
Thomas Erik Angerhofer
